The consumption of fabric for tailoring this model is very easy to calculate. It is equal to the length of the product multiplied by two. The optimum width of the panel is 1.5 meters. How to sew a skirt-half-sun?
Step one. Building a Pattern
Correctly taken measurements ensure impeccablelanding a skirt-half-sunny in shape. To build the drawing, you need two measures: the waist in the girth and the length of the product. Stock up in a centimeter, stand up freely, straight back. Place the tape around the waist and secure it in such a way that it does not constrain movement. The value obtained will be the first measure we need. Then from the waist line, lower the centimeter down and fix the length you need.
The pattern of this product is based on thetruncated cone. To do this, we first draw a right angle, taking it to the vertex point O. From it we lay off the segment OT, which is equal to the waist circumference divided by two and multiplied by 0.64. Further from the point T we lay down another 20 cm, this will be point B. Through it passes the line of the hips. Then we measure from the same point T down a length equal to the length of the product. Mark this point as H. Now, on the second side of the angle, we plot the segment OT *, equal in magnitude to OT, TB * = TB and TH * = TH. Thus, we get the markings on both sides of the right angle. By connecting the pairs of points T * and T, D * and D, H * and H, we obtain the sweep of the cone. The finished skirt-half-sunshade consists of two such details.
Step number two. Cutting parts
To clearly observe the technology of cutting the fabric,produce it only on a high table of sufficient size. Fold the fabric in half, arrange the pattern, pinning it so that it does not slip. When cutting out the details, do not forget to retreat for the seam allowance. At the waist and sides not less than 1.5 cm, for a hem of at least 4 cm.
Step three. Sew a skirt
We sew the seams, leaving thelightning. We sweep every detail. We are slowing the side. We pin the zipper with pins. We change the paw in the car to one-sided and sew the lock. In order to sew the bottom correctly, youneed help. Self-measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the skirt is unlikely to succeed. Do it most conveniently on a stool or on a table. After the bend is planned, tuck the fabric in half and stitch it with one suture. If the thickness of the material allows, the bottom of the finished product can be sewn in the old manner, on the hands. This method is not so fast, but the seam is more elastic and much stronger.
To give the model a retro sound, wear a skirt with ballet and a wide leather belt. Suitable top: short monochrome jackets, bolero, tight t-shirts, tops-bando.
