A bill of "5000 rubles" is, perhaps, one of the mostlarge banknotes of modern Russia. It is not so rare, but the trouble is that not every Russian can boast of minimal signs of authenticity of banknotes of this dignity. Such negligence sometimes leads to very sad consequences.
History of appearance
Купюра «5000 рублей» впервые в истории России was developed by the Provisional Government in 1917 and put into circulation in 1918 by the government of the RSFSR. She looked like the notorious "kerenki" and had on the back of the double-headed eagle. At the time of its inception, this banknote was the most "expensive" money symbol of the country and was issued as the general depreciation of money. But in 1996 (as in 1920), this "money" was already one of the smallest, which was the result of rapidly growing inflation.
As a banknote a coin has become
The note “5000 rubles”, the photo of which is presented below, was put into circulation on 10.31.95 and served for a short time.
Unfortunately, the life of this banknote was short,only 3 years - as a result of the denomination, which passed in 1998, the zeros were “stolen” from it, and it turned into a five-ruble bill with the same design. But this note also did not last long - a little later, in 2001, it was replaced by a coin of the same denomination.
At first it was like that
In modern Russia of the XXI century, the first bill "5000rubles ”was released into circulation at the end of July 2006 and became the largest of the“ urban ”series (on the back of bills, the views and memorable places of several cities in Russia were printed). Initially, its circulation was planned as insignificant, it was assumed that it would have the greatest circulation in regions with an increased level of wages among the population. However, it quickly spread throughout the territory of Russia, which resulted in the need for additional types of protection. So after 5 years, the banknote was reissued again.
Images - where are they from
Few know that the monument depicted on"Five thousand" has a difficult fate. Three quite famous sculptors, M.M. Antokolsky, M.O. Mikeshin and A. M. Opekushin, who defeated the other contenders. At the end of 1890, a ready-made statue was delivered from St. Petersburg to Khabarovsk, only 35 years later, the monument was demolished and sent to the museum, where it lay for many years, and sent to melt in wartime. Only in the late 80s the monument was restored by means of caring people, and in 1992 its grand opening took place.
The bill "5000 rubles" has a very beautifulthe reverse side - there is a bridge across the Amur River - a monumental two-tier structure, which has a separate road and railroad tracks. The construction of this masterpiece began on July 30, 1913, and it was planned to finish it in just 26 months, which is simply unbelievable for such a giant. In Warsaw, special metal trusses were made, which were then shipped through Odessa to Vladivostok (by sea), and there they were transferred to special platforms and delivered by rail to Khabarovsk. The bridge was almost assembled, 18 huge farms took their places, but the ambitious plan violated the First World War. The German cruiser Emden in the fall of 1914 sank a ship in the Indian Ocean with the last two farms of the bridge. So the last two designs had to be re-ordered in Canada and shipped to Russia. Already on October 5, 1916, this magnificent structure was ready - the bridge was opened to traffic. It is interesting that at the time of opening the bridge over the Amur was the largest railway structure in the Old World, and more than 13.5 million rubles were spent on its construction.
Size and description
The size of the bill “5000 rubles” corresponds to the usual “thousand” - 157 x 69 mm, the banknote is equipped with several types of security signs, which should be discussed in more detail.
How to determine authenticity
Of course it would be nice to always have with youdevices that help confirm the presence of signs of authenticity of money, but in practice it is not possible. In addition, proper protection of bank notes should provide an opportunity to distinguish between fake and all categories of the population, including visually impaired citizens. So “5000 rubles” is a bill, the signs of originality of which can be determined not only visually, but also by touch:
- the emblem of the city is applied with the help of OVI paint with a variable optical effect - when you change the angle of view, the color becomes green, then crimson
- there is a field with hidden MVC stripes - if viewed perpendicularly from a distance of 30–40 cm, this part of the banknote is perceived as monophonic, and when tilted, stripes are visible;
- The height of the digits of the serial number on the right gradually increases;
- there are watermarks visible to the light: on the right is the head of the monument, and on the left is the number 5,000;
- The emblem of the Bank of Russia on a banknote has a polarizing effect;
- there is a digital rating, made using perforation;
- some element located to the right of the inscription “Ticket of the Bank of Russia” is printed in an unpainted field (colorless embossing);
- microtext is applied - upon very close examination one can see continuously repeating signs “5000” and “CBRF 5000”;
- a diving-type metallized thread, having a width of 3 mm, comes to the surface five times on the back of the bill;
"5000 rubles." 1997: the bill is modified
As you know, how much money exists, so muchthere are also those who want to fake them. So with the new "five thousand" the same thing happened - in just 9 months of 2011, a huge amount of fakes totaling more than 100 million rubles were withdrawn from circulation. A considerable share among them was occupied by five thousandth notes. Therefore, it was decided to improve the protection of so high denomination bills on the model adopted in 2010.
Despite the fact that the cost of the new “five thousandths” was 24% higher than the previous ones, this step proved to be quite justified - the number of fakes decreased several times.
What is the difference
The new bill "5000 rubles" is not too differentaccording to external signs, they even left a year of development of the previous sample on it. The most notable difference was the inscription "Modification of 2010", which was applied in the lower part of the left margin on the front side.
- only two types of fibers remained in the thickness of the paper - gray and bicolor;
- in the paper itself there is a security thread that comes to the surface from the front side of the bill through the “stained glass window”;
- on the right field is the combined watermark;
- on the lower field, which, as in the previous case, has moire stripes according to MVC + technology, there are elements with visible parts in the form of colored stripes;
- on the edges of coupon fields, thin prominent (relief) strokes are applied on the front side;
- the digits of the left serial number gradually increase in height to the center of the banknote;
- the emblem of the city has a rich green color and is applied with the use of optical paint OVMI - a bright horizontal strip moves from the center up and down depending on the angle of view;
- on the back side there is a wide multicolor strip, made in the form of an ornament;
- some parts of the image have magnetic properties;
- changes were made to the design of the banknote, visible under infrared and ultraviolet illumination.
In general, the sample of the “5000 rubles” denomination of the modification of 2010 has eighteen degrees of protection and is considered one of the most difficult forged banknotes in the world.
