The fan is powered byan engine capable of generating air or other gases. Today, there is a wide variety of types of these devices, for example, radial fans are in demand in the industry.
In the air conditioning and ventilation systems, the following main types of device designs are used.
The axial ones are arranged in such a way that the air flow moves along the axis of rotation of the wheel. These types are often used to create air exchange systems.
Centrifugal or radial fans createThe conditions under which air flows enter the axis of movement of the wheel, but leave the device in the radial plane. This type is widely used in ventilation systems.
Diametral devices ensure the entry and exit of the flow perpendicular to the rotation of the wheel.
On the strength of the created pressure, all devices are divided into a fan (radial) of medium pressure, low and high.

Radial fans consist of a spatulaThe impeller, which is in a spiral-shaped casing. During the rotation, the wheel directs the air located between the blades along the trajectory from the center, while simultaneously it compresses. Centrifugal force, which acts during rotation, throws compressed air into the casing, from which it flies to the discharge port.
The main part of the device is workingwheel. It is most often produced in the form of a hollow cylinder having on the outside of the scapula. The blades are installed parallel to the axis of rotation at the same intervals. Their fastening in front and behind is performed by means of two disks, in the center of which there is a hub used for propelling the engine to the shaft.
The radial fan in its design may have backward or forward curved blades, the number of which is determined by the type and function of the device.
Radial fans, actively used in air conditioning and ventilation systems, are responsible for the quality of air exchange.
Depending on the type and purpose of the system,install centrifugal devices with one- or two-sided suction, as well as devices with V-belt gears, appliances located with the driving motor on one shaft.
In addition, radial fans are usedlow pressure with the direction of the bending of the blades in different directions along the motion. The bent blades allow the installation of the device to reduce electricity consumption by almost 20 percent. Also, it is advisable to use them in modes where air consumption is carried out with overload.
