The main problem that worries parentsafter the birth of a child, it is the state of his digestive organs. And in the anxiety of parents is not surprising, because the further development of the child will depend on how he eats, and here the functioning of the intestine plays a big role. One of the complex intestinal diseases in infants is dysbacteriosis. What is the cause of this disease?
Being in mom's belly, the baby lived for all 9 monthsin a sterile environment. Having appeared on the light, his body gradually begins to colonize a wide variety of microorganisms. Many microorganisms enter the child’s body as it passes through the birth canal. A part goes to the baby from the mother along with colostrum and breast milk, and some comes from the environment. As a rule, the main microorganisms are colonized in the intestine and take the most active part in food digestion and energy production. All would be nothing, but only these microorganisms are of two types: some, positive, must necessarily be in the intestine, and others, undesirable, that is, their presence does not benefit. On the contrary, under adverse conditions, for example, a child has low immunity, poor appetite, there is an infection, their number increases several times, and they become dangerous. Normally, lactobacillus, bifidobacteria and E. coli should prevail in the intestines of an infant. These microorganisms are a protective factor of the intestine. In addition, they have a positive effect on the immunity of the child and produce in the intestine natural vitamins - B12, B6 and folic acid. At that moment, when the ratio of beneficial and harmful microorganisms is disturbed, with the latter becoming larger, and dysbacteriosis occurs in infants. There are several forms of it, and only a doctor will be able to identify it after passing the necessary tests. I will only note that parents may not notice dysbacteriosis in a child at all: as such, signs will simply be absent. Typically, this latent form of dysbiosis is detected by chance, when the child is taken for a completely different analysis. But most often dysbacteriosis in infants has pronounced symptoms: the child is suffering from colic and increased gas formation, there is a liquid stool with the presence of green mucus. Symptoms of dysbiosis are nausea, constipation, loss of appetite, poor sleep and a general deterioration of health. In such cases, it is not necessary to independently engage in treatment, but to call a doctor. Only he will be able to identify the real cause of this condition of the child and prescribe the appropriate treatment. Dysbacteriosis in infants children can be cured, since there is no shortage of drugs for this disease today.
Doctors believe that dysbiosis у детей грудного возраста можно предотвратить, if parents will follow a few simple rules in the first days of their baby’s life. First, after delivery, the baby should be immediately attached to the mother’s breast. Colostrum is a very important food for a newborn, because it is with him that a large number of beneficial microorganisms will enter the body of a baby. Body contact of the mother with the child also favorably affects not only the development of the baby, but also the colonization of the intestines by microorganisms. And most importantly, dysbiosis in infants can be avoided by breastfeeding for at least the first month. Here, as they say, the benefits of breast milk do not need comments. It is also manifested in the supply of essential vitamins, nutrients and microorganisms to the still weak organism. All the same doctors believe that no expensive mixture can replace breast milk mothers. True, if the mother does not have milk, then it is necessary to switch to the mixture, but before that it is advisable to consult with your doctor about the choice of artificial nutrition for an infant.
