- Cut out a paper from the shape of a leaf - an oval with pointed ends.
- Applying the pattern of the leaflet to the shreds, cut a few fabric blanks. They can be made different in size.
- Cut a shag of a dark color (brown or black) into a tree trunk.
- Put in front of you a piece of cloth for the front side and lay out the blanks of the trunk and leaflets on it.
- Secure the final version with tailoring pins.
- Now you need to sew all the elements.The most convenient way to do this is on a sewing machine, then the seam will turn out to be even and it will take less time to work. If there is no machine, you can do everything manually. Work carefully.
- When you sew all the elements, remove all the sticking threads.
- Attach the zipper to the finished side.
- Attach the other half of the zipper to the back.
- Fold the front and back parts of the pillowcase on the wrong side and sew them together.
- Turn the pillowcase on the front side.

Ruffled pillowcase
Below is a guide on how to sew a decorative pillowcase with ruffles:
- Prepare all materials and tools.
- Take the fabric for pillowcases and cut it into two parts: the front and the back.
- Take a piece of fabric, the length of which is more than one and a half times the length of the future pillowcase.
- Cut this fabric into equal thickness strips. Their number depends on the size of the pillow and your preferences.
