It got its name thanks to the tips of the ribs protruding from the sides, which are hidden in tubercles at rest. Releases when he feels in danger, and causes significant harm to the enemy. Amphibian is colored dark green, abdomen is pale yellow. On the whole body there are black specks.
Aquarium tritons are very slow, they can also be in one place for a long time, fixing themselves behind the walls of the aquarium or plant.
