And finally.The officer's tablet is a leather attribute of a rectangular shape, most often brown or black. The upper part of it is closed by a valve using a strap with a buckle. Earlier, in some cases, a clamp could be used.
Under the valve there are seven cells,intended for pencils, and several pockets for rulers. Inside the tablet is divided into two compartments using a partition. In one of the departments are stored cards in a protective case made of two celluloid transparent sheets, fastened together by a leather frame.
