To begin such an operation as repairing the cylinder head VAZ-2110,after its removal follows the cleaning of the combustion chambers. To do this, you can use a variety of car cleaners and rags. For such purposes, also suitable conventional solvent, which is sold in hardware stores. But in no case can you use mechanical cleaning methods that can damage the surface or leave scratches.

After the combustion chamber is cleaned,you must carefully examine it for cracks, traces of burnout. If such defects are present, then replacement of the head is recommended. But in some cases, you can try to save the cylinder head - use argon welding. In many situations it helps.

The next step is to check the adjacentplane cylinder block surface. To perform this operation, you will need a ruler. It must be installed edge along the surface and diagonally. With each such attachment, measure the gap between the ruler and the plane of the head. If its value exceeds 0.1 mm, the cylinder head must be replaced.

To do this, you need the usual gasoline, which refuels the vehicle. First, close the vertical channel between the 3rd and 4th cylinders. Then pour gasoline into each channel. After that, leave him there for twenty minutes. During this time, all the dirt inside will soak. After a specified time, it is necessary to drain the fuel, remove the plug and finally rinse the channels with gasoline and pear.

In the next step, check the valves fortightness. To do this, they need to pour kerosene. If within a few minutes the filled fluid did not leak, they are tight. Otherwise, it is necessary to grind or replace them.

Further repair of the cylinder head is to removevalves, removing the valve seals and lower spring plates. After performing this procedure, all these elements must be cleaned from carbon. If the valves have deep risks, scratches, cracks, deformation and burnout, then they should be replaced. It is also important to check the condition of their saddles and pushers. They should not have signs of corrosion and wear. You should also assess the condition of the valve springs and their elasticity. Broken, cracked and crooked should be replaced.
