A few years ago, the Volga Automobile Plantseriously engaged in the development of the second generation of the legendary "classics" - VAZ 2107M. The photo of this car in the World Wide Web is only 2, but this is quite enough for us to devote a separate review to the Volga novelty. So, the technical characteristics and design of the new "seven" later in our article.

As for the reaction of drivers to such a restyling, it is, to put it mildly, not the most positive. To be objective, the appearance of the old “seven” compared to its younger sister was much better and more presentable than it is now. And if the appearance of the car in front is more or less harmonious, then in the rear part it is just the opposite. "Blind from what was" - these words characterize the exterior of the novelty from behind domestic motorists. Comments are not relevant here, it must be seen.

Frankly, not the best optionperformance of headlights and bumper compared with other models of domestic VAZ. For some reason, the trunk lid has become embossed, although this does not in any way give it aerodynamicity, much less attractiveness. The rounded bumper hardly made the VAZ 2107M more modern. It's a shame, but a fact.

We hope that the situation with the engines in greaterdegree will be positive. So, before us is a traditional gasoline engine with a volume of 1600 cubic centimeters with a distributed injection and a catalytic converter. According to the manufacturer, this power plant now meets the Euro 2 environmental standard (although in Germany, vehicles with similar toxicity were produced 15 years ago). The gearbox is still the same manual, five steps.

Will there be mass production of this car?

Although the model was developed another 7years ago, on the conveyor, it has not yet come out once, what can we say about the exact cost of the car in the primary market. The manufacturer himself does not know what to do with further development. Yesterday, he announced the termination of the production of the seventh "Lada" at all, today talks about the development of a new modification, supposedly the second generation of the "classics". Therefore, we still cannot give accurate predictions about the serial production of the model. Probably, AvtoVAZ itself does not know this.
