Ghanaian footballer Kwadwo Asamoah was not considereda special talent in his youth, but in the end he managed to break into the best club in Italy and stay there for a long time. However, we can not say that he is a gambler or star - but he does his job well. Kwadwo Asamoah still has two years of contract with Juventus, and it is not yet known what awaits him further, especially given the team's focus on great achievements. In the meantime, it is worth paying attention to how the career of this midfielder was built.
Carier start
Kwadwo Asamoah was born on December 9, 1988 in Ghana, where he spent all his childhood. He played football on an amateur level until he was seventeen when he was found by scouts of the local club Kaazerman, where he stayed for the following year. Then he moved to another Ghanaian club, "Liberty Professionalism", with whom he signed a professional contract. In 2007, scouts from Europe began to watch him, and the small Swiss club Bellinzona as a result, in December, suggested that he move to a more serious championship. So Kwadwo Asamoah ended up in Europe, where he showed serious abilities within a month. Already in January 2008 he was leased to the Italian "Turin", where for half a year he proved himself quite well. In the summer of 2008, Asamoah was again leased, this time in Udinese.
The transition to "Udinese"
The lease agreement was designed for one year, and during this year Asamoah Kwadwo came on the field in 28 games, scoring two goals at the same time. The Italian club really liked the young Ghanaian, so it was decided to buy it for one million euros of compensation. So Asamoah settled in Serie A, where he began to develop rather quickly and show a good game. For the four seasons he spent in Udinese, Kwadwo played 134 games, scoring eight goals. In 2012, 24-year-old midfielder has already noticed many major clubs, but the most attractive, of course, was an offer from Turin's "Juventus". "Udinese" got for the player an impressive amount - 18 million euros, and Asamoah himself became a member of the strongest club in Italy.
Career in Juventus
Kwadwo Asamoah is a midfielder who canplay on both the left flank and in the center, so its versatility was very useful to the "old lady". Already from the first season, the Ghanaian began to often appear at the heart of the club, having played 83 matches in two years, scoring 5 goals. However, over time, "Juventus" began to rise to a qualitatively new level, so Asamoah began to increasingly stay on the bench. Over the next two seasons, due to the presence of more powerful players, and also due to frequent injuries, Kwadwo played only 23 games, not scoring a single goal. In the current season, Asamoah appears on the field quite often - he has already played in five games, but has not distinguished himself by any effective action. At the moment, the player was injured again and is recovering without participating in the team's games.
National team appearances
In the national team of Ghana, Asamoah plays a rather important roleand is one of the leaders. He debuted in the distant 2009 in the February friendly match against the national team of Egypt. In 2010, he was included in the application for the African Nations Cup, where he spent all five matches at the base, giving two assists. Then he went with Ghana and the 2010 World Cup, where he again played all five matches in the base. At the African Cup in 2012, Kwadwo missed only the first match, and in the remaining five took part, leaving the starting lineup every time. At the 2013 Africa Cup, he was also a major player in all matches, as he was at the 2014 World Cup, where he mastered a new role as a left-back. The last match for the team Asamoah held in October 2014 against the Guinean national team in the qualifications for the Cup of African Nations.
