Evgeniy Zhuk - professional Belarusian andIsraeli ex-footballer, who played as a central defender (sometimes played the role of the defensive midfielder). Yevgeny Zhuk was born on February 2 in 1976 inMinsk, Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic (now the Republic of Belarus). With football, Eugene met at an early age. His first games were held within the courtyard with the neighbors guys. In school, his parents took him to the football section, where soon the boy began to show a good result. Over the years, the guy increased his football experience and soon found himself at the disposal of the Minsk club Dynamo-Yuni. Here he had his professional debut in 1994. Over the course of three seasons held here in the local championship, Yevgeny Zhuk took part in 42 matches and scored one goal.

In 1997 he joined the BelarusianTorpedo Minsk, in which he spent only one season. In general, for the "Avtozavodtsev" Beetle spent 10 official matches in the highest league of the Belarusian Championship and was not marked by a single goal.

Next season Evgeny Zhuk spent at the club"Luninets" from the city of the same name in the Minsk region. In the team played 29 matches. In 2000, he fell into the interests of the coaching staff of the Polish club "Orlen", to which Yevgeny subsequently moved. However, it did not work out properly here either. The 2002/2003 season was not very successful forBelarusian footballer. At first, Evgeny signed an agreement with the Lithuanian club Sūduva from the city of Moriampole (the eternal rivals of the Zalgiris club). However, Eugene had only time to train in the composition of the representatives of Suvalki. Not having played a single match here, the player returns to his homeland, where he signs a contract with “MTZ-RIPO” from Minsk (now the football club has the name “Partizan). Here he finished the 2002/03 season - spent 31 matches and was marked by a single goal.

In 2004, Yevgeny Zhuk broke all records forthe number of transitions in clubs. In the 2004/2005 season, he managed to play in “Daride”, “Belshin” (Belarusian clubs) and as part of the Israeli club “Bnei Sakhnin”. In the first two teams managed to play 15 and 10 matches, respectively, but in the last one - only once. Apparently, in this football year, Eugene's career began to decline, because for the whole season he did not score a single goal.

In 2005 spent part of the season in Minsk“Locomotive”, after which he moved to Hapoel Kiryat Shmona. In Israel, Eugene received citizenship and improved his personal life. Yevgeny Zhuk finished his career in 2007. After three years of living in Israel, he returned to Belarus, where he spent his last games at the Savit Club.
