Located in the northeast of Krasnodarregion, Tikhoretsk is located 150 km from the capital of Kuban and 165 km from Rostov-on-Don. History of Education
The whole life of the city of Tikhoretsk in the Krasnodar Territory is connected with the railway, which was important for the development of the North Caucasus by Russia.
Russian emperor Alexander II in 1860was issued a decree on the establishment of the Kuban region. And the end of the Russian-Turkish war in 1878 gave a powerful impetus to the development of the Kuban. Here the industry is actively developing, and the region is gradually being integrated into the economic life of Russia.
In the 50th year of the XIX century.Ataman of the Kuban army appealed to the emperor with a request to conduct a railway to the region, which will be of strategic and economic importance.
