Dagestan, whose flag will be described in thisarticle, is a republic of the Russian Federation. The initial version of this state symbol was adopted in 1994. Subsequently, the cloth itself underwent some changes, and by 2003 they were officially fixed. Until that time, the country did not have its own symbols, as it was part of other state associations.
