Troubadours - medieval poets and musicians, actually were revolutionaries in poetry. Their work appeared in the XI century, and in the XII-XII centuries experienced its heyday. Its homeland was Occitania - several virtually independent feudal principalities in the south of modern France. We can say that all modern European poetry came into being thanks to the troubadours, and their views on poetry and music in Occitan language were called fine amor - the art of love. In more northern countries, it was called Courthouse. Troubadours are inventors of not only author's poems and music, but also complex symbolism. One of the favorite images in their work is white wild rose.

Rosehip white plays a big role in this genretroubadour poetry as "alba". After all, as a rule, the theme of love poems was not the mutual passion of the spouses, but a secret, hidden pull, similar to the irresistible desire of Tristan and Isolde. She manifested itself outside of marriage. “Albies” - or dawn songs - tell us how lovers spend time with each other at night, and the watchman stands alert to give them a sign when the sun rises. Often this secret place is the gazebo where the wild rose grows. White or scarlet - it will always protect lovers from the eyes of envious people. But the latter often convey a jealous husband who can kill both young people who have surrendered to passion.
Love for troubadour poetry and music isalways a concession to the attraction of the heart. But physical satisfaction of desire only then is a true fine amor, when it comes after very long and difficult trials. After all, until love passes this difficult path, until it becomes refined and refined - it will not become real. And the main goal of this passion is joy, joy. This love delight should always be maintained and kept so that this fire does not die out. Literally every song of the song speaks of this. The white dog rose, which in one way or another is often present in such works, also symbolizes this pure and clear love heat.

Interestingly, in modern poetry and musicthe themes of the troubadours also found their response. Most vividly and inspiredly, her main images were embodied in the famous ballad written by Alexei Rybnikov. “White Rose Hip” - a song from the rock opera “Juno and Avos” as if sums up a brief summary of all the work of the troubadours and their love poems and music. For love, most likely, have to pay with their lives. This is the only price that is paid for it. Absolute desire requires absolute sacrifice.
