Replacing the cuffs of the main brake cylinder on the VAZ-2110

This operation is performed on the element removed from the vehicle. It is advisable to use a mechanical vice. So we firmly hold the part in place. So, get down to work.

First, remove the sealing ring from the cylinder.Next, a large head "38" unscrew the plug GTZ. We take it out with a second sealing ring. With the help of round pliers remove the stopper. We take out the piston that controls the rear contour, holding his shank. It should be removed together with the guide sleeve and the outer sleeve. To dismantle the latter, it is necessary to unscrew the screw of the spring holder. Next, we get the front contour piston. To do this, push the element side of the thread with your finger. With a thin screwdriver we remove the separating cuffs. All items are washed in gasoline or alcohol. We put in place new cuffs and produce the final assembly.

It needs to be pumped. To do this, alternately expelling air from the wheels in a "crosswise" pattern, starting from the rear right.

Periodically add liquid to the tank.The essence of the pumping is to push the polluted fluid through the mains out. For the operation you will also need an assistant who, on your command, will press the brake pedal. This should be repeated until a clean, bubble-free liquid flows out of the hole. The procedure is done on each wheel. For better fluid control, a transparent silicone hose is connected to the drain hole. The liquid itself is drained into the bottle.
